‘Xscape’ Biopic Is Officially, ‘Unofficially,’ On, Groups Says ‘It’s Disrespectful!’

A biopic about the former group Xscape is officially in the works, according to Deadline. The producer of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Mona Scott-Young, will also be executive producing the biopic via her company Monami Entertainment.  The film will feature the original members of the group, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Kandi Burruss-Tucker, Tamika Scott, and LaTocha Scott.

TVOne recently announced they were making their own biopic of the band Xscape in the upcoming year. However, the group does not approve of the decision and even called it “disrespectful and disappointing.”
