Peggy ‘Sue’ Thomas: ‘Snapped Killer Couples’ Former Ms. Washington And James ‘Jim’ Huden On Tonight

Peggy Thomas, also known as Peggy Sue Thomas, will be headlining tonight’s Snapped Killer Couples. The Oxygen-based TV show will chronicle the death of Russel Douglas, a Whidbey Island man who was shot in the head while sitting in his car on a quiet road in 2003. Authorities say that Peggy Thomas–Peggy Sue Thomas, a former beauty queen and Ms. Washington, enticed her lover, James ‘Jim’ Huden, to kill Russel Douglas for her close friend and workmate, who was the wife of Russ Douglas.

On the day that Russ Douglas was killed, someone called him on the phone. Police believe that Peggy Thomas and Russ Douglas may have been intimate before, which could explain why he agreed to show up at that location. Peggy Thomas said that she only wanted to meet with Russ to give him a Christmas present for her friend.

Peggy Thomas was sentenced to four years in prison while her ex-boyfriend and co-conspirator, Jim Huden, was sentenced to 80 years for the death of Russel Douglas, the South Whidbey Record reported.

Tonight’s Snapped Killer Couples episode is named Peggy Thomas/Jim Huden. The show is produced by Jupiter Entertainment and is in its 8th season. The Peggy Thomas beauty queen murder case has been shown on other crime documentary shows, such as Investigation Discovery’s Beauty Queen Murders, CBS’ 48 Hours, and NBC’s Dateline.

Snapped Killer Couples will air tonight at 8 p.m. on the Oxygen Network. TV Crime Sky reported last week that Snapped Killer Couples was airing the Debra Canady, Brent Starr true crime case.
